The lagoon
The largest lagoon in the Indian Ocean

One of the largest closed lagoons in the world, Mayotte is a haven of peace where underwater species abound. With its 1,100 km2, it’s no surprise that it has become a divers’ paradise, thanks to its many world-renowned spots.

The Mayotte lagoon is the first to be elected a Marine Natural Park since 2010. The Mahorais lagoon also has an internal coral barrier.
